WHY WE EXIST
"The bottom line is I gotta do something. There are no courses in college on how to be a hard-working and productive rich person."
Jamie Johnson
Johnson & Johnson heir
"Born Rich" 2004
- We are advocates and confidantes for the rising generation.
- We exist to serve, challenge, encourage, and develop heirs for the challenges and responsibilities of living life with wealth, whether they want them or not.
- We exist to serve those who want to grow in personal development and stewardship of the assets entrusted to them.
- We exist to encourage and strengthen relational health in families of wealth.
- Wealth brings elevated comfort and enjoyment but also brings elevated pressures and responsibilities that if not intentionally addressed, brings elevated consequences. We exist to reduce the risks of these consequences.
Individual Advisory Services
We are advocates and confidantes for the rising generation, through diverse services and interactive roles:
Mentor/Coach
- The most important asset inherited is oneself. We assess individual giftedness and strengths providing counsel in the exploration and discovery of satisfying and life-giving careers.
- We develop and transition the rising generation to be competent contributors in investments, philanthropy and family enterprise through fully customized, educational and experiential learning programs.
- Healthy stewardship requires specific learned competencies that are not addressed in school. We comprehensively develop heirs in all areas of family capital including Investing, Governance, Philanthropy, Leadership, Decision-making, Values, and Legacy.
- As heirs emerge as leaders and begin executing their mission and purpose, we become a responsive, independent Board providing counsel, perspective, wisdom, and a source of protection in decision making responsibilities.
- While our services principally involve preparing heirs for leadership, we also help heirs develop their own business management teams through interactive coaching.
- Through our mentoring process, we help beneficiaries grow into their role as responsible receivers of wealth. We seek to relieve trustees of the challenges of serving a trust with unprepared beneficiaries.
- We seek to connect like minded peers to develop a supportive network that understands the intricacies of living life with wealth.
- We assess the family operating system through a deep dive into the strengths and challenges of the family relationships and patterns of communication.
- We provide a detailed process to help families strengthen trust and unity and then walk alongside them as they integrate new practices.
- We provide tools to measure and encourage ongoing relational health.
- We view family meetings as more than a business meeting; therefore, we provide a sequence of building blocks to establish a cohesive team, execute business objectives, and solidify the family legacy.
- Based on the customized and strategic planning from the building blocks, we will facilitate the family meetings with care and effectiveness.
- We serve both the rising and senior generation by creating strategy for an effective and successful business succession and transition of responsibilities. We coach towards effective communication and conflict resolution skills, providing a necessary independent voice in the conversation.

Family Advisory Services
For families of wealth, small relational fractures can feel more intense because so much is at stake. When the family has more connecting points such as shared assets, trusts, foundations, businesses, and investments, there is more at risk when relationships rupture. We help families proactively cultivate a foundation of relational health so that families are unified, connected and thriving relationally.

What Our Clients Are Saying
“Case & Bogart has been phenomenally helpful to me in navigating an intense, nuanced, and multi-faceted situation in my career management. Through their guidance and help, I have been able to maximize potential and achieve objectives that I would have never thought would have been possible.”
“Cristin has helped me take intentional steps in achieving my professional goals, while balancing my personal life with the same urgency and intentionality I grow my career. She was an especially helpful thinking partner as I navigated the two most significant career and personal transitions of my life, in landing and starting a demanding dream job, while rebuilding a fragile relationship that has now led to engagement. Cristin helped me cast clear vision and actionable plans to achieve goals for my new role and relationships."
“Bill and Kit are everything you hope for in a personal Board of Directors: easy to work with, intentional, understanding and willing to push you when needed to help you achieve your goals. Most importantly, they truly get to know you for who you are. I consider them not only mentors, but good friends, and I truly appreciate the role they play in my life.”
“Generational handoffs can be challenging for all involved. I found it extremely helpful to have someone provide feedback and act as a sounding board who has seen what to do and what not to do when going through this change at closely-held family companies."
“You facilitated putting our family’s (Generation 1 & 2) relationship back together and I cannot thank you enough. There is no way we could be where we are now without you. Someone asked, 'what was the biggest blessing of 2019?' My answer was simply, 'Cristin Parker!' And it set the foundation that has gotten us where we are today in 2021."
"Kit and Bill have helped me learn more about myself allowing me to grow in my work, my faith, and my relationships. I will be forever grateful for their friendship and guidance."

WILLIAM R. ``BILL`` BOGART
I’ve lived and worked in Dallas since 1977. I’m thankful to SMU for educating me and launching my career as a leader in banking and investments. Many great firms have given me a platform to serve clients and lead teams including Charles Schwab where I managed the Southwest Region and J.P. Morgan where my last role was Managing Director of the Private Bank’s high net worth team. In 2014 Kit Case and I started our current business, Case & Bogart, LLC a family office consulting practice where I have the best job of my life dedicated to preparing and educating the rising generation of wealthy families.
The love of my life is my wife Brenda. We have six children, one granddaughter, and live in the Bluffview neighborhood of Northwest Dallas. There you will often see us walking our beagles Ranger and Ruby and biking around Bachman Lake. We worship at Park Cities Presbyterian Church where we serve in the marriage ministry helping couples learn to thrive in the highest relational calling in life.
RONALD C. ``KIT`` CASE - CFA
I have enjoyed a 30-year career in investments involving most asset classes, including public equities, private equity, fixed income, and real estate. As an SVP, I ran the day-to-day operations of the Research Department for Southwest Securities, while covering a wide range of companies and industries. I moved on to the private equity world and joined BankCap Partners where I served as CFO and led capital raising initiatives for our investment companies. I subsequently, served two families in their asset allocation, private equity strategies, and due diligence efforts in multiple asset classes. I graduated from SMU in 1985, where I studied a little and played football, earning All-American (Honorable Mention) recognition. After beginning to mature, I earned an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin in 1991.
I have enjoyed my marriage to Carri for over 30 years and we have three beautiful daughters, three grandchildren, and two sons-in-law. I have the privilege of serving as an Elder at Park Cities Presbyterian Church and get to spend time with phenomenal people in the Youth Department, Young Adult Ministry, and sometimes help Bill in our marriage ministry.
CRISTIN MCKAY PARKER
Coming from a large family, with three generations living in Dallas, I have a rich history with relationships. I graduated Vanderbilt University with a degree in Human & Organizational Development, which introduced me to the value of organizational health in business. Working for Perot Systems as a Change Management Consultant solidified my passion for helping people & executive teams in practical ways by merging tools and processes to effect positive change. After seeing the impact in business, I wanted to shift my focus to the most important organization, the family. As an entrepreneur and Halftime connecting partner, I have been helping individuals and families build a foundation of relational health to unlock their full potential. My continuing education includes a master’s certification in the enneagram, DISC assessment, Career Direct Assessment, and a certification as a Relational Wealth Advisor. In addition, I have created a framework for families to be proactive and make the most of their most important team called “Your Family Blueprint.”
I am happily married to my college sweetheart, Ben, for over 25 years and we are enjoying the season of parenting three young adult children. Our church home is Upper Room Dallas where we have worshipped since its inception and volunteer in the marriage and family ministries. In our free time, we love adventurous, purposeful travel, being outdoors, investing in meaningful relationships, and opening our home to hosting interesting events… all growth opportunities to unlock our potential.
